It was a perfect day. Blue skies. Light breeze. A gorgeous farm all to ourselves. Bright colors everywhere. Friends all around. And the most beautiful and laid back bride you could ever meet! Enjoy your sneak peek Jess and Tom! Hope your week away was perfect!
Tonight we had a relaxing evening at the park with our kids and some dear friends…I love this shot…what a cutie! I know that no one will ever recognize me without a camera in my face but when you capture moments like this…it’s all worth it!
Here’s how it’s gonna work! I have about 30-40 daily followers on here…or so WordPress tells me! So, in order to ‘meet’ you and know who’s out there in internet land I going to conduct my first ever give away! All you have to do is leave a comment (at the bottom of this post) in the comments box. Tell me your name, and email address…on Sept 16th I will put all the names in a hat and draw a name. That person will get to choose one 8×10 print from the following 5 prints for free!! It’s on me!! Now tell me that’s not an easy way to get a free and fun print!
Also in the comments feel free to tell me which print you like and why!
Thanks guys!!
Tonight I went searching. Searching for inspiration. Here’s what I found. We all find it somewhere…tonight mine was in our backyard!
I don’t know about you but whenever I see one of these I think of ‘Horton Hears A Who’!
Do you know what it takes for me to get a picture of me? Two extended arms and a lot of blurry shots!! I never get pictures of me…not that I really would want any. But someday, far, far down the road..when I’m long gone, I want my kids to cherish the millions (and I do mean millions) of pictures I took of them…but every now and then I’d like them to know I wasn’t just behind the camera…but I was there too! With them, loving them, kissing them…just being close to them.
This is a pictures of me and the love of my life…he’s cute stuff! Trust me.
As I learn more in this ‘industry’ called Photography I also learn that the most important thing you can earn is referrals…and that means giving referrals to those whom you also love and appreciate! I’ve had some pretty amazing people help me along the way…ladies like my best friend Cathy Satre who is also a photographer in Indianapolis, and Michelle Young a photographer in Florida. They’ve answered countless dumb questions from me and always been there to guide me and help me learn as I journey through this adventure! I’d be lost without them…
So, in that spirit of sharing the love I want to share these two very fabulous Ladies websites with you….if what they give to the world is something you might need…look no farther! They are both talented and you’ll love what you get!!
Brides, Prom, Special Events…or just to look gorge!! Check out these handmade head pieces!
Have a baby, little one or know someone who is? Check out this awesome stuff!

I love this picture…simply because that look…well, it speaks volumes! Love her more than sliced bread!!
Words won’t suffice for this blog…sometimes you can’t say what you feel…you just experience it. I’ll steal another person’s words for this one…
“I have been astonished that men could die martyrs for their religion -
I have shudder’d at it.
I shudder no more.
I could be martyr’d for my religion
Love is my religion
And I could die for that.
I could die for you. “

Seth and Emily thanks for letting me capture this small part of your journey…the start of your journey. May the Lord bless you and use you for great things….may your journey be full of love and joy, just like this day was.
Thank you again.
Stunning…simply stunning.
This was Emily’s Grandma’s necklace…it made her outfit perfect…it was gorgeous!
This time was precious….
These guys were up for anything.
Gorgeous girls!
Time for what we all gathered for…a wedding!
And then they were married!! Yeah!! Their faces say it all!
Really? Need I say anything else?
The back-lighting was gorgeous.
Probably one of the most fantastic group of Bridesmaids and Groomsmen ever!
They rocked ‘the dip’, let me tell you!
Then it was time to party!
Sometimes a blurry candid says it all….
